This policy explains which messages Diecast Markets sends, which ones need your permission, and how to stop optional messages. The current marketplace is Canada excluding Quebec, and our commercial electronic messages are designed around Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Marketplace access in other countries is not enabled by this policy.
Service messages
When you hold an account, we send messages needed to run it: sign-in and password emails, phone verification codes, order confirmations, shipping and tracking updates, payout notices, dispute and refund notices, cancellation notices, security alerts, and notices about changes to these policies. These are not marketing. You cannot opt out of them while you keep an account or have an open order, because they carry information about your transactions and your account. Each one identifies Diecast Markets Inc. and includes our contact details.
We also show in-app notifications for the same events. Where a message is legally required to be sent, an electronic message to the address on your account is how we send it, and you agree to receive it that way.
Optional marketing
Marketing email is separate from your account. Creating an account is not consent to marketing. At signup there is an unchecked, optional box. If you tick it, Diecast Markets Inc. may email you about marketplace features, collector news, and selling tips. We record that you consented, the consent version (MARKETING_CONSENT_2026_09_V1), the time, and where the consent came from. We do not send marketing text messages.
Every marketing email identifies Diecast Markets Inc., shows our mailing address (po box 68642 brampton RPO great lakes, ON, L6R0J8), includes support@diecastmarkets.com, and includes an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. The mailing address and contact method used in a commercial electronic message are maintained as accurate and valid for at least 60 days after the message is sent.
Unsubscribe
Open the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. No sign-in is needed. Each unsubscribe link remains valid for at least 60 days after the message is sent. We process an unsubscribe request without delay and no later than 10 business days after receiving it; our automated link normally suppresses marketing immediately. You can also ask support@diecastmarkets.com to remove you. Unsubscribing does not stop service messages about your orders, security, or account. If a marketing email bounces or is reported as spam, we stop sending marketing to that address as well.
Consent records and conservative sending rules
We use a conservative Canada-first rule: optional email marketing is not bundled into account creation, the opt-in is separate and unchecked, and we keep a record of the consent source, version and time because the sender has the burden of proving consent. We do not buy third-party email lists for marketplace marketing and do not send marketing text messages. If a future campaign changes either practice, it requires a fresh legal and consent review before sending.
Your rights
You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. You can ask what consent record we hold for you through the privacy request page. Complaints about commercial electronic messages can be made to us first, and to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.
