Diecast Markets
Market Availability & Regional Compliance
Diecast Markets Inc. opens a country only after the technical marketplace switch and the country-specific compliance controls for that market are both complete. A country appearing in a phone-number selector, address field, waitlist, or future roadmap does not mean buying or selling is available there.
Current early-access market
Marketplace early access is currently limited to Canada, excluding Quebec. Quebec is not live. Real-money checkout remains separately locked until the Canadian launch, tax treatment, and payment controls are authorized. Early access does not override that checkout lock.
Public pages can be opened from outside Canada, excluding Quebec. Browsing is not an account, a seller payout, or paid checkout. Seller registration still requires a Canadian address outside Quebec. Paid checkout stays closed for every country, including Canada. A carrier label that starts in Canada does not make another country a place where a seller can be paid or where a buyer can check out.
Seller payouts use a Canadian Stripe recipient account. Stripe told us on 14 October 2026 that a recipient service agreement cannot receive cross-border Connect payouts, including where the country is inside the published region list. The agreement cannot be switched after it is accepted. Global Payouts is not listed for a Canada-based platform. A phone country, a signup country, or a page on this site does not open a payment route.
Browsing, creating an account, shipping, payouts, and tax are separate. Visitors outside Canada can read public pages. Account creation remains Canada excluding Quebec. For an order that is already paid inside that market, the seller enters the carrier and tracking they arranged. Diecast Markets does not buy that label on a shared shipping account, and the tracking entry does not open checkout, a seller payout, a destination outside Canada, or a tax registration.
Planned markets that remain disabled
The following markets are represented in the product roadmap, but selling and checkout stay disabled until every applicable launch gate is complete:
- United States: INFORM Consumers Act seller controls, applicable state privacy notices and rights, consumer disclosures, marketing rules, and tax treatment.
- United Kingdom: UK privacy and transfer safeguards, PECR marketing/cookie rules, trader disclosures and distance-selling rights, platform seller reporting, and tax treatment.
- Australia: Applicable Privacy Act/APP controls, Australian Consumer Law seller classification and consumer guarantees, Spam Act controls, breach response, and tax treatment.
- Singapore: PDPA accountability/privacy controls, consumer-protection disclosures, marketing controls, and GST/LVG marketplace treatment.
- Japan: APPI privacy and cross-border safeguards, digital-platform consumer protections and seller information, marketing rules, and tax/product-safety review.
Markets not currently enabled
The EU/EEA is intentionally excluded until a separate DSA/trader, consumer-rights, VAT and privacy launch review is complete. New Zealand, Hong Kong and every other country not listed above are also not enabled. Quebec requires its own launch review before marketplace checkout or seller registration can open there.
Mandatory local rights
Where Diecast Markets later opens a market, mandatory consumer, privacy, tax, marketing and platform-reporting rules that apply there take priority over any conflicting contractual wording. We do not use a country flag to waive those rights.
Before a country is enabled
We require a country-specific launch review covering seller reporting and identity duties, consumer/trader disclosures and remedies, privacy and international transfers, marketing and cookies, taxes, payments, shipping, product restrictions, and incident/breach notification. If any required pack is incomplete, marketplace access for that country fails closed.
