These standards apply to every listing, message, review, and account on Diecast Markets. They are part of the Marketplace Terms. Sellers also agree to the Seller Agreement.
Listing standards
- The title, description, series, year, and condition must describe the actual item for sale.
- Photos must be of the item being sold. Stock or catalogue images do not replace photos of the item.
- Condition must be chosen honestly from the available options. Disclose damage, missing parts, repaints, and repackaging.
- A custom, modified, or restored item must say so in the title and description.
- One listing is one item. Quantity is one. Do not list an item you do not have in hand or do not have the right to sell.
- The item price must be genuine and attainable. Any buyer-paid shipping or other permitted charge must be disclosed before payment and included in the checkout total; mandatory charges must not be hidden in a side arrangement.
- Keywords, series names, or brand names that do not apply to the item may not be used to attract searches.
- Items or content on the Prohibited & Restricted Items list may not be listed or included in listing photos or descriptions.
- Do not attempt to evade moderation by disguising prohibited items, altering images to hide them, using coded descriptions, or moving prohibited-item negotiations into messages.
Moderation and appeals
We may use automated tools and human review to screen listing text and images for prohibited content, marketplace relevance, fraud, and safety risks. Automated checks may publish a listing, reject it, or hold it from public view for review. If you believe a moderation decision was incorrect, contact support@diecastmarkets.com to request a manual review.
Messaging
- Messages are for questions about listings and orders. Keep them about the transaction.
- Do not ask for or offer payment outside the marketplace checkout for a marketplace listing, and do not arrange an off-platform transaction through marketplace chat.
- Do not send or request personal contact information such as personal phone numbers, personal email addresses, private/home addresses, or social handles intended to move the conversation off-platform.
- Do not send or request card numbers, bank information, e-transfer details, crypto wallet addresses, gift-card details, or other direct-payment credentials.
- Do not use chat to advertise, buy, sell, or arrange prohibited items listed in the Prohibited & Restricted Items policy.
- Do not send nudity, pornography, graphic gore, prohibited-item images, payment/contact details, or images/QR codes intended to move a deal off-platform.
- Casual profanity is allowed when it is not directed at or used to harm another person. Harassment, degrading insults, targeted abusive profanity, threats, discrimination, and intimidation are not allowed.
- Messages cannot be edited after they are sent. Text and images are automatically moderated and may be reviewed by authorized personnel when flagged, reported, or needed for a dispute or enforcement review.
Reviews
- Only the buyer on a delivered order may review that order's seller.
- Reviews must be about the transaction and be honest. Do not offer or accept anything in exchange for a review.
- Diecast Markets may remove a review that breaks these standards or the law.
Accounts
- One person, one account, unless support agrees otherwise. Do not create accounts to evade a restriction.
- Do not use another person's identity, phone number, or payment details.
- Do not attempt to access data, accounts, or systems you are not authorized to access, or interfere with the service.
Enforcement
We may remove a listing, hide content, hold a payout, restrict selling, suspend, or close an account when we reasonably believe these standards, another policy, or the law has been broken. We consider the seriousness and the evidence. Where appropriate we will tell you what happened and how to respond. Some records are kept after enforcement for security, dispute, accounting, and tax purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
Report a listing, message, or account to support@diecastmarkets.com. Rights holders and legal notices go to legal@diecastmarkets.com.
